Dr. Sutton is active in many societies including the American Psychological Association, Association for the Treatment of Tobacco Use and Dependence, Mississippi Chronic Illness Coalition, Multinational Association of Supportive Care in Cancer, Society for Research on Nicotine and Tobacco (SRNT). Dr. Sutton has presented at both national and local meetings including ongoing state and national workshops for healthcare providers in the treatment of tobacco dependent patients, and behavioral medicine. Dr. Sutton is also involved in research at the ACT Center for Tobacco Treatment, Education, and Research.
