The Department of Otolaryngology and Communicative Sciences is seeking applications for a Chief of the Division of Communicative Sciences.  This is a tenure-track, open rank position, requiring a doctorate in audiology, speech-language pathology or related field; CCC; eligibility for Mississippi license in audiology or speech-language pathology; and prior management experience in a medical center environment.  The successful candidate will provide a clear vision for advancement of the divisoin in the areas of clinical service, research, and education.

The division currently employs seven audiologists and 17 speech-language pathologists and provides clinical services in five locations both on and off the medical center campus.  Outstanding research opportunities are available as part of ongoing, NIH funded projects in vestibular testing and presbycusis. 

Salary is commensurate with experience and rank.  Start date is open and applications will be reviewed until the position is filled.
